Busselton Margaret River Airport (BQB) is about 10 minutes from the Busselton town centre.

Airlines direct to Busselton:

• From Sydney: with Jetstar approx. 4 hours.

• From Melbourne: with Jetstar approx. 4 hours.

Nearest major capital airport: Perth

Most international flights arrive at Perth Airport (PER), which services direct flights from many destinations in Asia, the Middle East, and beyond, as well as domestic connections across Australia.

From Perth, you can continue your journey to Busselton by car, or coach.

There are domestic flights landing at T3 (Qantas) and at T2/T1 (Virgin/other).

Please note that an inter-terminal bus transfer is required to get between terminals. Please take this additional transfer time into account if you wish get to the to-Busselton transfer bus after you land.

Flight Service Update – Busselton Routes

Jetstar has temporarily suspended its flights between Sydney and Busselton. The airline is aiming to resume this service in September, subject to operational requirements.

In the meantime, Jetstar will continue to operate three direct flights per week between Melbourne and Busselton, ensuring ongoing connectivity for travellers.

Car hire is available at Perth Airport and in the city, giving you the flexibility to explore the Margaret River Region at your own pace.

Busselton is approximately a 2.5–3 hour drive south of Perth via the Forrest Highway and Bussell Highway.

• Follow Wilman Wandani Hwy and Bussell Hwy/State Route 10 to Saltwater, 9 Queens Street Busselton

South West Coach Lines offers services departing from Domestic Terminals, T3 & T4, and International/Domestic Terminals, T1 & T2. A road coach operates twice daily from East Perth Terminal to Busselton via Bunbury. East Perth Terminal is easily accessible via Transperth services, CAT buses, and major roadways, and is separate from the airport. The Transwa station connects directly to regional towns, interstate destinations, and Perth’s suburban rail network.
