Busselton is 230kms south of Perth, Western Australia. Saltwater Busselton is located at 9 Queen Street, Busselton.

On Monday 21 September we will provide a coach transfer pick-up from Perth Airport Domestic Terminal to Saltwater Busselton. The coach must depart from the airport by 1.30pm, so please choose an appropriate flight arrival time.

On Thursday 24 September we will provide a coach transfer from Saltwater Busselton to Perth Airport Domestic Terminal. The coach must depart Saltwater by 12:30pm, arriving at the airport at approximately 3.30pm.

Note: Transfers can be selected at the time of your registration - $50 per person, each way.

  • Via Perth Airport (Recommended)

    Perth Airport (PER) is Western Australia's primary international and domestic gateway, offering extensive connections from major cities across Australia and destinations around the world.

    For most delegates, travelling via Perth will be the most flexible and convenient option.

    From Perth, Busselton is approximately 230 kilometres south of the city and can be reached by:

    • Conference transfer coach

    • Rental car (approximately 2.5 hours via Forrest Highway)

    • Regional flight

    • Commercial coach services

    Conference Transfers

    To assist delegates travelling via Perth, BacPath 2026 will offer dedicated coach transfers between Perth Airport and Busselton on the official conference arrival and departure days.

    Arrival Transfer

    Departure Transfer

    • Thursday 24 September 2026

    • Depart Busselton: 12:30pm

    • Arrive Perth Domestic Airport: approximately 3:30p

    Perth Airport Terminal Information

    Perth Airport operates across multiple terminals:

    • Terminal 3 (T3): Qantas domestic services

    • Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 (T2): Virgin Australia and other domestic and international carriers

    Please note that an inter-terminal transfer bus is required when travelling between T3/T4 and T1/T2. Delegates should allow sufficient time for terminal transfers, particularly if connecting with the BacPath 2026 conference transfer coach.

    Flying Direct to Busselton

    Busselton Margaret River Airport (BQB) is located approximately 10 minutes from the conference venue and Busselton town centre.

    A limited number of direct domestic flights operate to Busselton throughout the year, providing a convenient option for delegates travelling from selected Australian cities or connecting through Sydney and Melbourne.

    As airline schedules and routes may change, delegates are encouraged to check directly with their preferred airline or visit the airport website for the latest flight information.

  • Car hire is available at Perth Airport and in the city, giving you the flexibility to explore the Margaret River Region at your own pace.

    Busselton is approximately a 2.5–3 hour drive south of Perth via the Forrest Highway and Bussell Highway.

    • Take State Route 2 and National Route 1 to Bunbury Outer Ring Road/Wilman Wadani Hwy in Brunswick

    • Follow Wilman Wandani Hwy and Bussell Hwy/State Route 10 to Saltwater, 9 Queens Street Busselton

  • South West Coach Lines offers services departing from Domestic Terminals, T3 & T4, and International/Domestic Terminals, T1 & T2. These services run from Perth Airport to Busselton via Bunbury and Perth Airport to Margaret River via Busselton. For more information please refer to the South West Coach Lines website.

    A road coach operates twice daily from East Perth Terminal to Busselton via Bunbury. East Perth Terminal is easily accessible via Transperth services, CAT buses, and major roadways, and is separate from the airport. The Transwa station connects directly to regional towns, interstate destinations, and Perth’s suburban rail network.
